Events and Craft Fairs 2023

I exhibit at around 5 events a year - all of which I carefully choose for their high standard of work and gorgeous locations.

Craft in Focus organise several Design and Craft fairs in the South East and they are known to be one of the best in the country for their organisation, stunning locations with some of the best makers in the UK travelling to exhibit with them.  Demand is high for the stans and I'm delighted to be picked to be one of them as its's an endorsement of the quality of my work. 

The shows are fabulous events and make a great day out in stunning locations for all the family.

Below are the events you'll find me at this year.  (It's easy to spot me with my moss pebbles!)

18-21 May 2023 - Hever Castle - Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 7NG

My first Craft in Focus fair of the year and it's local in Kent.  As well as 3 marquees full of fabulous makers, a food tent and many stands outside, for fans of Channel 4’s TV programme, The Great Pottery Throw Down, visitors can come and meet several of the potters from the 2022 series (series 5) as well as Sally and finalist, Adam, from the previous year’s series (series 4).  There is no affiliation with the TV programme or its producers but the potters wanted to showcase their work at this excellent event.  Tickets can be bought in advance from Craft in Focus or Hever Castle.

 

 2 - 18 June - South East Open Studios - The Woodland Gallery, Pembury, TN2 4QL

After a very successful Open Studios last year and our Pop-up shop in Tunbridge Wells, myself and 9 other artists will be showcasing An hand drawn illustration of two foxes, a mother and baby looking up at a winter tree with hills in the backgroundour work in the beautiful setting of the Woodland Gallery in Pembury. 

We will be open 11 - 6, Wednesday to Sunday during the 2-18 June and will be open from 6 - 8 pm on 9 June if you can't get to us during the day.

The event is free and I'd love you to come and visit and tell your friends all about this event.  Some of us will be demonstrating how we work and we all enjoy chatting about our inspiration and techniques.  There is no pressure at this event to buy but of course if you do fall in love with a piece which you have to take home with you then we'll all do a little happy dance!

25-28 August 2023 - Hyde Hall – Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 8RA

My second fair of the year with Craft in Focus and the first time exhibiting at Hyde Hall which is a fabulous setting for this amazing event of high quality makers from all over the UK to gather and exhibit their work.

 

 

17 – 19 November - SchoolGambia Art Exhibition and Sale -Yalding Church, ME18 6HU

Over 30 fine art and craft local artists will be taking part in the historical setting of Yalding Church.  I'm on the committee organising this and would love you to come along and support a very good cause!
