Craft & Jewellery Fairs

Covid 19 (Coronavirus) - Update

Understandably many of the fairs have been cancelled due to coronavirus. It's very sad not to be seeing you all and the other stall holders but safety is no 1 during this difficult time.  I hope that the Craft in Focus Craft and Design Fair at Hever Castle will be able to go ahead in September but that might have to change.

In the meantime while jewellery may not be the first thing on everyone's mind at the moment, I am still making and sending orders, although this can be a little slower than normal. Orders are being sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery on a Monday,  so that I can only visit the local post office once a week. If you are in a hurry and would like it sooner please do let me know.  If you would like to send a gift to someone who lives in the UK please feel free to email me with a message and I'll include it with the gift.

If you'd like to visit you can now book an appointment through my facebook page but it will be weather dependent as we will need to meet outside in the garden to comply with current government guidelines.  All my jewellery is about the feel of the tree bark texture so you can try on pieces but anything you try on please put on the tray so I can clean it in an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner.  .

Stay safe and I look forward to welecoming visitors again!

Craft In Focus Craft and Design Fair, Hever Castle, Hever, Kent  – 10 to 13 September 2020

This event is just on my doorstep and is set in the stunning, award-winning Hever Castle Gardens with 125 acres of glorious grounds with the backdrop of the historic castle – the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.  Children can enjoy the fabulous adventure playground, while visitors of all ages can enjoy the challenge of finding their way through the Water Maze and the 100 year old Yew Maze.  Come and spend the whole day here as there is so much to do including enjoying the work of some of the UK’s finest designer makers and contemporary artists.

School Gambia Art Exhbition, Yalding Church, Yalding – 28 to 29 November 2020

SchoolGambia is a local based charity which started in 1999 when Karen and Tony decided, after a visit to the Gambia, to help build two classrooms which they have developed into a school that provides education to any student no matter their background or ability. They now have 10 classrooms and have increased enrolment from 100 to 575 pupils between the ages of 3 to 16.  Importantly, they have introduced a teacher training sponsorship programme and are a model of educational excellence for all Gambian Nursery and Basic Cycle Schools.  One of the fundraising events, which I'm helping to organise is an art exhibition in our beautiful local church.  We are very lucky to have many talented artists in the area and every penny raised goes directly to benefit the students at Farato School.  We'd love you to support this very worthy cause!

Private Shopping Experience

Can't wait for the next fair?  Then give me a call (07973 955994) and arrange a time to pop in and see me in the quaint village of Yalding.  Over a cup of coffee, in the relaxed atmosphere of my kitchen, riffle through the indian medicine cubboard that stores my ready to wear Woodlands Collection and if you don't find the perfect piece then we can discuss your requirements and I can can design a  bespoke piece designed and made just for you.  We have some fabulous local pubs and countryside walks so why not make a day of your visit.
